Arthur’s Dining Club for Fenwick’s 140 Anniversary
As part of Fenwick’s 140 anniversary celebrations, a new restaurant and music club was unveiled in Fenwick Newcastle. A new entertainment destination for dining, music, immersive events and more. The retro-style club - all table lamps, candlelight, jewel colours and velvet drapes - welcomed guests with evolving monthly themed evenings and afternoon-tea menus.

For the opening night, guests were invited to channel their inner Jay Gatsby and Daisy Buchanan for an evening inspired by the prohibition era, with flapper girl dancers, themed cocktails and Michael Lamb’s Strictly Smokin’ Big Band, who are the only ensemble of their kind in the North of England.
To celebrate Newcastle being the home of Pride 2022, Arthur's hosted a night of cabaret featuring some of the regions most exciting talent from the LGBTQ+ community in partnership with Northern Pride. Friday's ‘Love is Love’ night and Saturday’s ‘Express Yourself’ party, saw local artists and performers dazzle with a mix of fabulous drag, comedy and music.
On the journey to champion the cultural talents of the North East, Fenwick partnered with Sage Gateshead for a night of Future Sounds to support emerging artists involved in its Artist Development programmes, providing a mix of eclectic and intimate musical events for the region’s music lovers.

We encouraged customers to don their tartan, tune their bagpipes, tuck into haggis and swirl a dram of Scottish whisky at the Arthur’s Burn’s Night.
Arthur’s celebrated a momentous moment in British history with the King Charles coronation dinner. Fenwick provided the royal treatment with a decadent four-course menu consisting of some of the King’s favourite flavours. Reinventing the traditional brass band format with a 21st-century spin, Backstage Brass brought funky and beat-driven arrangement of classic and modern tunes.
Bringing a spooky spirit to Arthur’s, the Dia de Los Muertos frightful fiesta had spine-chilling Halloween tracks and performances by Mexican contortionists and a Marichi Loco band.
Inspired by the energy of Summer, Sounds of the Summer invited customers to escape the ordinary and dive headfirst into the free-spirited joy of the season. String band Violetta Duo, who have performend with some of the world's most successful acts including Beyoncé, Ariana Grande, and Pink, as well as featuring on albums by Adele and Noel Gallagher, captivate the crowd with their take on contemporary pop and house music.
Havana Nights transformed Arthur’s into a Cuban paradise enveloped in live music and culinary delights that evoked the nonchalant and vibrant spirit of the Caribbean.
The Jubilee Afternoon Tea celebrated Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s spectacular 70-year reign. Fenwick put on a regal banquet of savoury delights and the very finest patisserie - accompanies with the dulcet tones of a live playhouse trio with a pianist, drums and cello.
